all supporting business documents were available only in paper, a document management system with supporting automated workflows was not in place

the solution

api chose oryx to migrate the existing email solution to  Microsoft O365 also including all technical workers who did not have an electronic identity within api so that they could be involved in future automation scenarios, e.g. online leave requests, training request or other human resources related initiatives 

Microsoft SharePoint online was the selected solution to archive and index 10 years of operations documents and Kofax Express was the chosen software to scan, index and handle in excess of 2,000,000 pages of documents, including CAD drawings and fit-out plans

 

with Microsoft O365 oryx also implemented Microsoft Threat Protection as well as Microsoft InTune for mobile device management nd enhanced device security

to further increase device and data security, all existing computer devices were re-formatted, updated to the latest Windows OS versions and patches or replaced where they had reached end-of life

 

in cooperation with api, oryx services developed an implemented new corporate policies for devices and applications and provided api with the corresponding user training to support roll-out and user adoption

post go-live oryx outsourcing engaged as the first-line of support for all api users

today api operates fully electronically in the cloud

 

email and communication security has increased significantly and no data breach was reported in over 12 months of operation
