the client was storing business critical documents in the basement of an office tower on behalf of a customer it represented in legal matters
documents stored included legal content, quotations and tenders, contracts, service level agreements as well as CAD and fit-out drawings and were urgently required to serve as evidence for litigation purposes

for one of its customer representations the client had to preserve and maintain case related documentation for a significant period of time
the solution
the client engaged oryx outsourcing to digitize all related content, approx. 500,000 pages of backlog, and upload the scanned images to the existing Microsoft SharePoint 2013 solution
after successful migration and upload of all relevant documents and their availability on the SharePoint portal all documents were packed and re-boxed and shipped to Glenbeigh Records Management for long-term, secure storage in a purpose built storage facility
the results
today all business documents are stored securely, with a fully centralized administration and document access control
the outsourcing of content capture and records management of over 600 boxes of project documentation has enabled the client to preserve their project documents and to remain compliant with statutory regulations
