the challenge

as a manufacturing business, holding market leading R&D know-how for its products and patents, ATEÏS was experiencing obstacles in managing, sharing and tracking documents and there was no centralized platform to collect and collate all the information. ATEÏS required a trustable platform to store important data of the organization and to create the access levels and secure the same accordingly, handling and storing the IP information was their priority


to optimize operating performance, data accuracy, access control and global security, ATEIS began an evaluation of enterprise capture and business automation solutions and decided to standardize on both Microsoft cloud services as well as Kofax Express for ongoing document digitization requirements

ATEÏS chose oryx to migrate all Microsoft on-premise solutions to Office 365 including Microsoft Outlook/Exchange as well as SharePoint 


Microsoft SharePoint was the selected solution to archive and index 10 years of operations documents and Kofax Express was the chosen software to index and handle 250,000 + pages of documents 


Kofax Express is a powerful, all-in-one, easy-to-use, batch-oriented document scan application capable of high-speed scanning with real-time image display, indexing and bar code detection, tightly integrated into Microsoft SharePoint

Microsoft Office 365 is a web-based version of Microsoft’s suite of enterprise-grade productivity applications 


it is delivered to users through the cloud and includes Exchange Online for email, SharePoint Online for document management and collaboration, Lync Online for unified communications as well as a suite of Office Web Apps

the results

today ATEÏS fully operates its business in the cloud


all business documents are stored securely, with fully centralized administration and document access control


the application is tightly integrated to core business process applications including CRM and ERP and has led to massive improvements in processing time, data quality and data governance


ATEÏS has been able to reduce the overall annual IT budget by 35% by becoming cloud-centric
