the challenge
Wadi Adventure’s web site required a redesign and relaunch
the existing web site, comprising of only static HTML pages was outdated
in addition, Wadi Adventure was not able to offer online booking or payment facilities
upgrading or refreshing web content was not easily possible leading to an overall old-fashioned and unresponsive corporate appearance
Wadi Adventure decided to scrap the existing Web Site and to relaunch from scratch with an underlying, generally available and easy to manage CMS as well as incorporating responsive design and professional digital media
in addition, the newly to be launched web site also required to be integrated in to Wadi Adventure’s newly acquired online booking engine
Wadi Adventure evaluated available market offerings and selected oryx to conduct the work

Wadi Adventure is the Middle East’s first man-made white water rafting, located at the base of charming Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain
the adventure park features three white water channels for rafting and kayaking and an aerial adventure course, which includes an 18 obstacle, two leveled challenging airpark, a 200-meter long zip line, vertical climbing wall and a 14-meter high giant swing
Wadi Adventure also provides a variety of options to engage corporate events enhanced with great guest service, while the summit events centre provides a versatile event space for corporate meetings and outings, team building activities and birthday celebrations
the solution
oryx in a first step migrated all existing data and content from the existing web site and moved the same to new CMS, Joomla! and rebuilt the site with new functionality, layout, wire-frames and content, incorporating animated media as well as responsive designs
incorporating Joomla! as the underlying CMS and conducting a thorough and proper knowledge transfer, oryx enabled Wadi Adventure to easily enhance, adopt or change its existing content and digital information
reusable content and digital assets enable Wadi Adventure to constantly change its web site appearance to correspond to upcoming events, marketing activities and custom teasers

the Wadi Adventure web site was relaunched within a five-week period and today represents a dynamic, fast growing enterprise with a fresh, state of the art user experience with all online booking facilities required
in return Wadi Adventure was able to allocate internal staff away from answering customer phone inquiries and booking inquiries
ticket sales have in average increased by 18% since launch of the new web site and online booking facilities
